Seeking a Stable Supply of Natural Resources

Japan have been facing a problem of stable supply of energy as Japan has few energies such as oil, natural gas, and metal mineral resources including coppers and rare metals. In order to ensure stable energy supply, marine resources are expected to take an important role. We are willing to put our effort to develop marine mineral resources and methane hydrates around the coast of Japan. In addition, we research on marine resource development techniques.
We are going to challenge developing research of marine resources for the future of Japan so that we can support our daily lives and various industries with necessary energies.
